IROKO    Βοτανική Ονομασία: Chlorophora excelsa)

To Iroko (or, more commonly, Teak Africa), comes from tropical Africa and is considered to be extremely resistant to endurance, impact, damage and insect infestation. The density and hardness of this species are moderate and largely maintain their stability in expansion conditions.

Το Iroko has many similarities to its characteristics with the Teak and is easy to handle with both hand tools and mechanical means and is stable in size and well maintained after treatment

It is widely used in indoor and outdoor applications, floors, garden furniture and shipbuilding, as it has very good corrosion resistance properties.
